Bringing your CRM into the studio

A weekly report is due at noon. Before you head out, you ask the system what moved in the pipeline last week, then add a note about the format. If something is unclear, it asks. By the time you are at your desk the report is waiting.

Starting today, the two halves of the studio are merging into one system. Bring a quick question, or hand over a report due at noon, and the work takes it from there, even after you have closed your laptop.

What the system makes does not need its own place either. Documents and slides are new today, and design now works inside your conversations too. Ask for a document, and it drafts it. Ask for a presentation, and it drafts the slides. If you use the design tools on their own, they keep working as before. Read the notes for details.

We built the two surfaces as separate places for bigger work and for visual work. People used both, and told us the frustrating part was deciding where a task belonged. So we stopped making you choose.

“I could have the system pull up my research database, and it would pull all the cases, read them, figure out which other cases I might need, and store them in a folder for my review.”

Getting started

If you mostly use chat, you do not have to do anything different. When you want to hand over something bigger, try the next report or deck you would normally build yourself.
