Positioning · draft
What we do, who it is for, and how we measure it.
What we do
Brand, motion, web and product work for companies bringing AI into what they make and how they work.
Who it is for
Teams who want AI to make their people more capable, and who care how it feels to use.
How we measure it
Against human purpose and human flourishing: whether the people on the other end are more capable and better off.
Why it matters
Intelligent tools are arriving in everyday work. Their value depends on whether they extend the people who use them.
The idea
Technology should extend the human system and answer to human purpose.
The identity carries that idea in its structure. The F and the H meet on one bar at the exact center of the mark, and the dot sits on the name’s center line, exactly halfway up the letters. Both hold the same balance: the future and the human joined at the center, with neither one leading.
In the work, that balance is the test. A system earns its place when it makes the person using it more capable and leaves the decisions with them.
Five beliefs
What we believe.
01
The person is the point.
Every system is judged by what it does for the person using it, and whether it serves their purpose.
02
Extend what people can do, and leave the decisions with them.
The best tools make people more capable at work they already care about. The judgment stays with the person.
03
Show the evidence.
We back claims with measurements and say plainly when something is still a guess.
04
Balance is the standard.
Technology extends people and answers to their purpose. When a tool starts deciding for people, the balance is off.
05
Care at every size.
A favicon gets the same attention as a film title, because both are where people meet the brand.
Voice
How FutureHuman sounds.
FutureHuman sounds like a senior practitioner talking to a peer they respect. It is plain and specific, and it never hurries.
Direct
Leads with the point, then gives the reason it matters.
Example
The new intake flow cuts review time for each case from two days to four hours.
Exact
Puts a number, a name or a test where an adjective would go.
Example
The report now runs in 40 seconds. Last quarter it took 12 minutes.
Warm
Writes to a person, with respect for their time and their judgment.
Example
You bring the judgment. The system clears the ground so you can use it.
Calm
Explains change without urgency or hype.
Example
Start with one workflow. Measure it for a month, then decide what comes next.
The numbers in these examples are illustrative.
Practice
How we write.
- Lead with the point, then give the reason.
- Use specific nouns and active verbs.
- Back every claim with a number, a name or a source, or label it as a view.
- Keep to one idea per sentence where you can, and let sentence lengths vary.
- Write in US English: center, color, organization.
- End on substance. The last sentence should carry information.
